Alice in 2000

Alice in 2000 by Renzo Rossotti.

Illustrated by Grazia Nidasio.

Published by Ward Lock Limited, 1970.

Alice visits the planet of Meringue, drops in on a constellation or two, finds out where time is made and gets a special golden dress (that’s the extra picture: I couldn’t resist scanning another one in). I really don’t remember the year 2000 being like this…

The illustrations are really wonderful and they remind me of some of the picture books I had as a child, most particularly The Forgotten Teddy Bear. At least, I think that’s what it was called: Mum, do you remember it?

Available on amazon: Alice in 2000

Sorry = No I cannot remember that one at all – but you did have so many books.
