Ross has worked as a cartoonist, graphic designer, lecturer and art director of an advertising agency.
As well as the Alices, Ross has illustrated books for Roald Dahl, Paula Danziger and Michael Palin. He also writes and illustrates his own books.
The pictures do remind me rather of Quentin Blake. Has he done an Alice?
