Illustrated by David Walsh and John Cooper

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, illustrated by David Walsh and John Cooper.

Published by Ward & Lock: “A Prince Charming Colour Book”. 1962. Hardback 8vo with dust jacket.

It has 18 colour plates and black-and-white illustrations set in the text. I think Walsh did the b&w, and Cooper the colour pictures, which are dark and rather eerie: quite different to the cover picture. I’ll try and scan some of the inside pages once I’ve caught up with myself a bit more…

Bought in the Yoxford Antique Centre for £4, according to the receipt tucked inside. I suspect that this means that mum bought it for me.
