Arabic Alice

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland translated into Arabic.

Paperback.

I’m a bit shaky on the details of this one, given that I don’t understand the alphabet, let alone the language.

I do know that it was a present from my friend Debbie, that it opens from the back (which feels very odd), and that the character on the front, who I think is the Queen of Hearts, looks like my Auntie Sandra…

I really like the illustrations, but I can’t credit the artist, as I can’t read their name…

Thanks, Debbie: when you get back from Sudan, you can translate some of it for me :)

My hair matches mum's dressing gown matches my mood. As most of you know, mum is now nearing the end of her life, probably in the next few days. We are here telling her how much we love her and how much we will miss her- the funny, kind, quick, bloody-min
